3 Must Have SEO Add-Ons in Firefox for SEO Beginners If  you are interested in getting into SEO, or even if you are just about to hire an SEO and are interested in what you can check up on, you are going to need the add-ons below.  These are the three cornerstones to any SEOs Firefox foundations, and they supply a massive amount of information, in some cases very important information!

    * Google Toolbar : Many of you may already have this but if you do, this is the first one you need!  This Toolbar comes with a mass of other little goodies for you to use.  It comes with a list of short cut buttons through to the news section, Google Mail section, Translations and a search bar!  However this Toolbar also comes with the Page Rank icon!  Ooooo, now this is the main Gem for SEOs using this Toolbar.  The Page Rank bar tells you how strong a site is, and this is what SEOs use to gauge how powerful there site has become.  Ranging from 1-10, this bar is also a good way to find out how strong a link on those sites would be!  This is a core principle in building links for SEO, and allows us to find out whether or not we will get high reward from a link!  You also have the option to add many more wonderful items to this toolbar, it is highly recommended and also allows you to highlight repeated key terms and also check spelling errors that you have made.  Although not really key to SEO, they do help out with any writing skills, which are common in SEO!

    * Search Status : This really is best used for SEO, and this is what it is designed for!  This search status tool bar is by a company called “Quirk” and supplies a vast amount of information!  You can check on the amount of links easily through Yahoo site Explorer, without having to do it manually.  You can also highlight any No Follow links that show up, and show keyword density, which will actually measure how many times and what the percentage of any keyword is throughout the entire web page!  This is great for those that don’t want to be done for Spam, and you can clearly see how well optimised all of the Copy on your site is!  This Search Status tab also means that you can find out all of the Who-is information on any website relatively quickly, meaning you can find domain age, where it is hosted, and if it has a dedicated server!  It also allows you to find out IP information so you can check to see if other websites are hosted with it!  This tab means that you can also locate the Robots.txt file and you can find out the inner workings of most websites!

    * SEOMoz Tool Bar : Perfectly created for all your SEO needs.  This Bar works in a similar way to the Google Toolbar, but has many more SEO specific items.  One that SEOMoz actually created themselves is the Moz Rank bar, which works in the same way as the Page Rank bar, but has some other factors attached to it as well.  If you go pro then you can also use a page analyser which shows you a whole bunch of information that you could find useful.  It also gives you the amount of Internal and External; links coming into the site at a glance.  This is one of the most useful Tool Bars around for beginners, especially if you use it for pro membership as well, opening yourself up to a whole bunch more statistics!
