Test, Check If All Keyboard Keys are Working or Some Don’t Work

We recently posted about about dealing with laptop liquid spills on keyboards, but another must do thing is to check if all keys in case some keyboard keys don’t work. Test keyboards keys to see if all of them are functioning properly.

PassMark Test Keyboard free software allows users to quickly check that all the keys on your computer keyboard are functioning correctly, check the LED keypad, observe the internal scan codes generated by the keyboard and measure the speed of writing.

The up and down movement of each key is registered and highlighted on a graphical image of a keyboard. Each time you press a key on a variety of state information is updated in the window, and the keyboard image. You can type pangram sentences to check the alphabet keys.
Possible uses of the software include testing faulty keyboards, batch mode testing the keyboard in a production line environment, aid to practice typing test typing and key internal codes.

Easily Re-Enable Right Click on Right Click Disabled Websites

Some sites (like imdb, lyrics, article sites) prevent you from performing certain actions, like right clicking, selecting on their pages. Some blogger also do this thinking that this makes their content secure (big mistake). But here is a way to disable the annoying right click block on websites and re-enable right click menu in your browser.

One of the most frequently used ways to preventing copying is to use javascript to disable the ability to right-click. Of course, we can use javascript to turn it back on.
When visiting the website with right click disabled, type the following into the URL bar of your browser and press enter:
 javascript:void(document.oncontextmenu=null)

You can also save the script as a bookmarklet to use it when needed. This is similar to the select all checkboxes at once script which is also very useful.

Indian 35$ Tablet PC’s Hand On Review by NDTV Gadget Guru [Video]

NDTV’s popular tv program Gadget Guru featured a independence day special episode dedicated to the hands on review of the 35$ Indian Tablet PC. The show completely shattered skeptical claims that such a product is not practical at 35$.
But, Indian HRD minister Kapil Sibal came to the show and reviews the numerous possibilities of this android device as a educational tool for students. He has promised that the gadget will be made available exclusively for Indian students for a price of Rs. 1,500.

    It might be a bit annoying when your screensaver kicks in while watching videos, movies. But you can disable or stop screensaver from activating by using any one of the free and simple taskbar applications mentioned below. This way you can stop screensaver from coming on while watching movies.

It works by simulating a keypress once every 59 seconds, so your machine thinks you’re still working at the keyboard, so won’t lock the screen or activate the screensaver.

Double-clicking the icon empties the coffee pot (that’s what the icon is) and temporarily disables the program.
